The Texas Rangers were unable to overcome a four-run deficit in the first inning, losing to the Cleveland Indians 4-3 on Saturday night.

Scott Feldman pitched six innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out five. It was the damage done in the first inning off an opening walk and four straight hits that doomed the game from the start.

The Rangers had runs in the third, fifth and sixth innings and threatened in the top of the ninth, yet were unable to put together a sustained rally against Jeanmar Gomez and the Indians relieving pitchers.

Adrian Beltre had yet another big game, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run and single, raising his average on the season to .319. Josh Hamilton was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts on the night.

David Murphy was the only other Rangers batter with multiple hits in the game, going 2-for-3 with a home run and a single.
