The Rangers sagged during July but look to start August with a bang in Kansas City.

The Rangers arrive in Kansas City looking to start a long stretch of road trips (13 games in the next 16) and move past a July that saw only nine wins. Matt Harrison was one Ranger in particular that struggled through July - despite his 12-6 overall record, the Texas ace finished the month 1-3 with a 3.30 ERA, including a 5-2 loss in his most recent outing. Several Rangers batters have a positive history against the Royals' Jeremy Guthrie, but none more so than Michael Young, hitting .400 career against Guthrie.

Location: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri

TV: TXA-21
