Rangers Vs. Orioles Score Update: Texas Leads 3-1 After 4

Stay connected for news and updates

After four innings at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, the Texas Rangers lead the Baltimore Orioles 3-1 in the first game of their three-game series.

Baltimore took the lead in the first inning when Adam Jones scored Nate McLouth on an infield single. The bottom of that inning began with a double from Texas' Ian Kinsler and an infield single from Elvis Andrus. The Rangers wasted that chance, though, and didn't manage another hit until the fourth.

In the fourth, Texas took the lead, with RBI singles from David Murphy and Geovany Soto and a sac fly from Kinsler.

Texas starter Ryan Dempster has given up three hits and one run and has struck out four.

Baltimore's Miguel Gonzalez has given up six hits and three runs and has struck out two.
