Rangers Vs. Giants: Game Preview, TV Info And More

ARLINGTON TX - NOVEMBER 01: David Murphy #7 and Josh Hamilton #32 of the Texas Rangers watch as Edgar Renteria connects for a three-run home run for the San Francisco Giants in Game Five of the 2010 MLB World Series at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on November 1 2010 in Arlington Texas. Memories of that other World Series loss could haunt the Rangers, who open a three game set at San Francisco Friday night, a city they've never won in.

There's no escaping comparisons and memories this weekend - Texas will travel to San Francisco for the first time since losing the 2010 World Series, looking to break a seven-game skid to the Giants, the longest for the Rangers against any team. San Francisco is 15-7 all-time against the Rangers, and Texas has never won at AT&T Park.

Matt Harrison is tied for the AL lead in wins with seven, and enters Friday night's start 3-0 in his last three outings, with a 2.48 ERA.

Date / Time: Friday, June 8, 9:15 p.m. CT

Location: AT&T Park, San Francisco, California

TV: TXA-21

Radio: 103.3 ESPN , 1540am ESPN Deportes

Probable Starters: Matt Harrison (7-3) vs. Barry Zito (5-2)
