The Texas Rangers get their first look at Oakland Athletics rookie starter Jarrod Parker.

It wasn't long ago that the Oakland A's were sitting in second place in the AL West behind the Texas Rangers. But 10 losses in Oakland's last 11 games now has the team in last place as it squares off with Texas on Monday.

Taking the hill for Texas is Scott Feldman (0-3, 4.50 ERA), who hasn't had much success in his career against Oakland. The right-hander is 3-5 with a 5.65 ERA in 17 appearances against the Athletics.

The Rangers will get their first shot at Oakland rookie Jarrod Parker (1-2, 2.88 ERA). Parker has allowed two runs or less in all but one of his seven starts this season.
