Another pitcher is down and out for Texas, making a total of four starters that have missed time this season, all before the All-Star break.

The Texas Rangers are set to send their fourth pitcher of the season to the DL, placing Colby Lewis on the 15-day DL with tendonitis in his his right forearm. Lewis had been scheduled to pitch on Thursday night, and Scott Feldman will now start in his place.

Left-hander Martin Perez was called up by the Rangers on Tuesday from Triple-A Round Rock, and will likely start on Saturday. In addition to losing Lewis, the Rangers have missed starters Neftali Feliz (elbow), Derek Holland (shoulder) and Alexi Ogando (groin) in the last three months. The Rangers have now started nine different pitchers in under 80 games this season.

Lewis is 6-6 with a 3.5 ERA so far this season, and has won 32 games dating back to 2009.
