The Texas Rangers begin a three-game road series Friday against the division rival Los Angeles Angels.

The Texas Rangers start their schedule for the month of June on the road against the Los Angeles Angels for the first of a three-game weekend series with the American League West Division rivals.

These are the top two teams in the division, but the Angels have been hotter over their past 10 games, while the division-leading Rangers have struggled at times. L.A. is 8-2 in its last 10 outings compared to Texas' 6-4 mark.

Both teams however, dropped their most recent games, the Rangers in particular being lit up by the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday, 21-8.

Colby Lewis (4-3, 3.58 ERA) will get the start for the Rangers, while Jerome Williams 5-2, 3.81 ERA) takes the mound for the Angels. Take a look at the game schedule here:

Date/Time: Friday, June 1, 9:05 p.m. CT

TV: KTXA, Fox Sports West
