The Texas Rangers looked like they were going to come away with a 2-0 win over the Cleveland Indians until the Tribe came through with a clutch eighth inning to put the pressure on Texas.

It took a three-run shot from pinch hitter Adrian Beltre in the 11th inning to give the Rangers a 5-2 victory over the Indians. Ian Kinsler and Mitch Moreland had RBIs in the second and fourth innings, respectively, but that wasn't quite enough for the victory.

Cleveland scored two runs on three hits in the eighth inning. Leadoff hitter Michael Brantley got the action started with single to shallow left field. Jason Kipnis followed that up with a single to shallow right, which put Brantley on third base and set up the scoring opportunity for the Indians.

Asdrubal Cabrera doubled to right and brought in Brantley, then Kipnis scored on a passed ball. There was nothing doing in the ninth, so it went into extras.
