Rangers Vs. Blue Jays Final Score: Texas' Nelson Cruz Has 8 RBI, Grand Slam In 14-3 Win Over Toronto

Nelson Cruz had a career game against the Toronto Blue Jays by going 4-5, eight RBI, scoring two runs and hit a grand slam. The eight RBI tied a career-high and the grand slam was his 19h home run of the season.

The Rangers just dominated the Bue Jays Friday night as they scored six runs in the first inning and knocked out the Blue Jays starting pitcher Brandon Morrow who lasted only 2/3 off an inning.

Overall the Rangers offense was on fire as they had five total players with multi-hit games which included Adrian Beltre, Michael Young and Mitch Moreland who all had three hits.

Not to be outdone, starting pitcher Derek Holland improved to 4-3 on the year and pitched 7.1 innings, struck out nine batters, allowed five hits and gave up just two runs.
