Texas Rangers Vs. Seattle Mariners Final Score: M's Win 5-3

Alexi Liddi's first career grand slam propelled the Mariners past the Rangers on Wednesday afternoon, as Seattle defeated Texas 5-3 in the rubber match of the three-game set.

Scott Feldman lasted just four and a third innings, and was responsible for surrendering all five of Seattle's runs. Though Feldman gave up just three hits, he walked five in the contest, and gave up the back-breaking grand slam to Liddi in the fifth inning.

Michael Saunders put Seattle on the board in the bottom of the second inning, as his sacrifice fly scored Kyle Seager.

Texas mounted a bit of a comeback in the eighth inning. Josh Hamilton, who went 2-4 on the day, hit a double to right field, scoring Ian Kinsler. Adrian Beltre followed that up with a two-run homer, making the score 5-3.

Unfortunately for the Rangers, the tying run would never come to the plate as they failed to record another hit or draw another walk.

Texas will return home and get ready to open up a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night.

Rangers Vs. Mariners Final Score: Texas Beats Seattle 3-1

Matt Harrison pitched seven strong innings, as the Rangers defeated the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night, winning 3-1.

Harrison improved to 5-3 on the season, allowing seven hits while walking two, striking out six and allowing just one earned run. Harrison allowed the run in the first inning, as former Texas Rangers farmhand Justin Smoak singled, scoring Alex Liddi.

Elvis Andrus went 1-for-4 on the night, driving in two runs, which ultimately decided the contest. Andrus hit a triple in the third inning off of Hector Noesi, which scored both Nelson Cruz and Mitch Moreland. Andrus would come around to score on a Josh Hamilton ground-rule double, giving the Rangers a 3-1 lead -- a margin that they'd win by.

Mike Adams came on in relief of Harrison, striking out two in his lone inning of work, picking up his eighth hold of the season. Joe Nathan struck out two without allowing a base runner in the ninth to pick up his 10th save of the season.

The rubber match between the Mariners and Rangers will come on Wednesday afternoon. Former Ranger Kevin Millwood will take on Scott Feldman, who is filling in for the injured Neftali Feliz.

Rangers' Yu Darvish Struggles Against Mariners, Again

Yu Darvish might have found his kryptonite. Once again, the prized right hander struggled against the Seattle Mariners on Monday night, as the Rangers fell to the Mariners, 6-1.

Darvish needed 96 pitches to even get through four innings of work, and allowed five runs -- four of which were earned. Darvish only allowed four hits, but walked an alarming six batters in four innings while striking out the side.

It appeared that Darvish would dominate out of the gate, as he struck out Dustin Ackley to start the game, but then issued a four-pitch walk to Michael Saunders. Ichiro Suzuki then tripled down the right field line, but Darvish would eventually strike out the side in the first.

Texas' offense, meanwhile, had no answer for Felix Hernandez. Hernandez pitched eight strong innings, allowing just one run on six hits, while walking two and striking out seven.

Mitch Moreland accounted for Texas' only run, as he hit a solo home run in the eighth inning off of Hernandez. Moreland also doubled in the game.
