After taking three of four games from Detroit, the Rangers return home to host the Yankees in a battle of 2011 division winners.
The Texas Rangers have won nine of their last 10 games, and they will look to keep on that roll when they face off against the New York Yankees on Monday night.
Monday's game will feature a vast collection of the American League's top offensive players. Josh Hamilton, Curtis Granderson and Mike Napoli are the top-three in the league home runs, while Nick Swisher leads the American League in RBI.
Facing those fearsome lineups will be CC Sabathia and Derek Holland. History would appear to be in Sabathia's favor as the left-hander is 10-3 against Texas in his career, and Holland is 0-4 against the Yankees.
First pitch is schedule for 6:05 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on ESPN and FoxSports Southwest. It can be found on the radio at 103.3 ESPN.
