The Texas Longhorns face the high-scoring Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater, Okla., on Saturday.

The No. 12 Texas Longhorns will aim to keep their perfect season rolling on the road Saturday, but the high-octane Oklahoma State Cowboys present an opponent with the firepower to present a challenge to the seventh-highest scoring team in the nation.

Mike Gundy's Cowboys lead the nation with 62.3 points per game and lie in the top-10 in both passing and rushing yardage per outing. And with an ugly 59-38 loss to the Arizona Wildcats in their second game of the year followed by a 65-24 drubbing of Louisiana-Lafayette afterward, Oklahoma State could be itching to make a statement.

The Longhorn defense will need to make its own statement if Texas wants to pull one off in Stillwater, Okla. In Texas' last outing, the Longhorns gave up 399 yards to Ole Miss, though they did come away with three Rebel turnovers. Quarterback David Ash led Texas with 326 passing yards on 19-of-23 completions and four touchdowns. Running back Malcolm Brown had 128 yards on the ground.

The Longhorns might get some help on the injury front on Saturday, as OSU freshman quarterback Wes Lunt left the Louisiana-Lafayette game with a knee injury. He is still being evaluated.
