The Texas Longhorns head on the road for the first time in 2012 on Saturday, as they travel to Oxford, Miss., to take on the Ole Miss Rebels.

The Texas Longhorns head on the road for the first time in 2012 on Saturday, as they travel to Oxford, Miss., to take on the Ole Miss Rebels.

Mack Brown's Longhorns are coming off a 45-0 shellacking of New Mexico. David Ash was an effective 16-of-22 passing for 221 yards and two touchdowns in the rout. Texas' running game was also working against New Mexico, as the Longhorns carried the ball 31 times for 146 yards -- good for a 4.7 yard per carry average.

Ole Miss, like Texas, is 2-0 headed into Saturday night's game. Ole Miss has defeated Central Arkansas (49-27) and UTEP (28-10) to start the 2012 season.

The Longhorns and Longhorns fans can expect Ole Miss to run the ball quite often on Saturday night, as the Rebels rushed the ball a staggering 46 times for 332 yards in their win over UTEP.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. CT from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Televised coverage can be found on ESPN and WatchESPN.
