The Big 12 Media Days begin Monday in Dallas, TX.
The Big 12 Media Days will go on in the midst of the fallout behind the Penn State scandal, as punishments for the institution were announced on Monday, the same day the Media Days begin. These media get-togethers are going be like background noise considering the unprecedented nature of the situation at State College, but they press on in Dallas.
TCU head coach Gary Patterson will open the coaches' address on Monday.
Texas Longhorns head coach Mack Brown is scheduled to address the media on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m, right after West Virginia's Dana Holgersen and just before Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy. Kansas' Charlie Weis will follow Gundy, while Baylor's Art Biles rounds off the schedule of coaches addressing the media.
Brown is likely going to have to answer questions about what the Longhorns plan to do to better their quarterback production, as that position as been an issue for the teams for a few years now.
Baylor is looking to move on from the Robert Griffin III era with a new-found popularity.
