A surprise on the Texas recruiting front came Tuesday, as five-star receiver Ricky Seals-Jones de-committed from Texas, according to Scout.com analyst Greg Powers.
Ricky Seals-Jones has de-committed from #Texas. #LSU, #TAMU, #Baylor mentioned now as schools he can hoop at as well as play football.

Seals-Jones wants the opportunity to play two sports in college. LSU, Texas A&M and Baylor are three that have "turned up the head" regarding that possibility. But he is not done with the Longhorns. Powers talked with Seals-Jones.
"Texas is still high on the list. I just wanted to look around and make sure that Texas is the right place for me and not take anything for granted."
The de-commit surely has come as a surprise, as there wasn't much talk that Seals-Jones was unhappy with his committment, nor that playing basketball was so important to him.
