Both Baylor and Texas have a five-star center slated to play in the premier showcase for top high school basketball talent in the class of 2012, which will be on ESPN at 8:30 Wednesday.

The McDonald's All-American Game, the most prestigious of the high-school basketball all-star games, will tip off on Wednesday, March 28 at 8:30 PM on ESPN.

Once again, both Baylor and Texas will have a representative in a game that has become a right of passage for nearly every great NBA player of the last generation.

Isaiah Austin, an athletic 7'0 215 center from Arlington Grace Prep, signed a letter of intent with Baylor in the fall, while Cameron Ridley, a 6'10 230 low post player from Fort Bend, Texas verbally committed to Texas, although he has yet to sign a NLI.

The Longhorns are also in the running for Devonta Pollard, a 6'7 200 combo forward from Mississippi, although he pulled out of the game at the last minute due to concussion-like symptoms.

Austin isn't the only player from Dallas, which has become a huge hotbed of basketball talent over the last generation. Marcus Smart, a 6'3 200 guard from Flower Mound who has committed to Oklahoma State, is in Chicago for the game as well.

It's been a down year recruiting wise for the Big 12, as Kansas is the only other conference school with a recruit (6'8 220 combo forward Fred Ellis of Kansas City) in the McDonald's game.
