Texas Vs. Texas Tech Halftime Score: Longhorns Lead By 15 Points, 40-25

Stay connected for news and updates

Neither the Texas Longhorns or Texas Tech Red Raiders are having a good shooting day as Texas is shooting only 34 percent of their shots while Texas Tech is making an even lower percentage at 28.

Even with both teams shooting so poorly Texas is still leading 40-25 at the half since they are 17 of 22 from the free throw line compared to Texas Tech who has made only 3 of 7.

Texas does have two players who have scored double figures at the first half in Clint Chapman who has scored 12 points and J'Covan Brown who has 11 points. Those are the only two players from either team to be in double figures. If Texas can improve off of their poor first half shooting they should easily walk away with a victory against Texas Tech.
