Texas Vs. Kansas State Halftime Update: Longhorns Offense Struggling, Down 40-27 To Wildcats

Stay connected for news and updates

The Texas Longhorns are shooting a woeful 7-of-25 in the first half versus the Kansas St. Wildcats as the boys from Manhattan have a commanding 40-27 lead in Austin, Texas.

The Wildcats leading performer has been Rodney McGruder, as his 11 points and 5 rebounds have been key to Kansas State's strong first half. Will Spradling has also chipped in 11 points and 3 rebounds and Adrian Diaz contributed 7 points off the bench. Texas has struggled to get any offensive flow going, their leader J'Covan Brown is shooting just 2-of-8 thus far for 8 points and Myck Kabongo has given Rick Barnes' team 7 points off the bench.

With a win Kansas State is closer to securing a bid in the NCAA tournament while a loss for the Longhorns will virtually eliminate them from any chances at an at-large bid.
