The Texas Longhorns earned the respect of voters across the SB Nation network for their victory over Texas Tech last weekend. The Longhorns' nine-spot climb was the highest of any team in the poll.
Following their impressive 31-22 victory over the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Texas Longhorns moved up nine spots to No. 20 in this week's SB Nation BlogPoll rankings.
The Longhorns' jump in the poll represented the largest out of any team during the week. Meanwhile, the Red Raiders, who were ranked No. 19 in last week's poll, fell seven spots and are now the top-ranked team in the "others receiving votes" section.
Elsewhere in the Big 12 Conference, the Kansas State Wildcats fell to No. 3, as the Oregon Ducks' impressive victory over the USC Trojans clearly swayed some voters. The Oklahoma Sooners are the league's only other ranked team, holding steady at No. 14. The TCU Horned Frogs, Oklahoma State Cowboys and West Virginia Mountaineers join Texas Tech as honorable mentions.
