At 2-2 in conference play, the Texas Longhorns and TCU Horned Frogs are in the middle of the pack in the Big 12 standings. Meanwhile, first-place Kansas State improved to 4-0 by walloping West Virginia.

The Kansas State Wildcats are alone at the top of the Big 12 standings after routing the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday in Morgantown, W.V.

Behind quarterback Collin Klein, the No. 4 Wildcats rolled to a 55-14 victory over the Mountaineers, who have fallen into a tie for fifth place in the conference. Elsewhere, the Texas Tech Red Raiders stayed even with the Oklahoma Sooners at 3-1 in conference play by beating the TCU Horned Frogs in a 56-53 shootout. At 2-2, TCU is tied with West Virginia and the Texas Longhorns, who ended a two-game losing streak by beating the Baylor Bears, in the middle of the pack.

Baylor and the Kansas Jayhawks remain winless in conference play, while the Iowa State Cyclones are the only other team with a losing league record.
