Star junior college QB Bo Wallace was all ready to visit the Texas Longhorns this weekend, after saying that interest from them would move them to the top of his list. That expected visit surfaced around the same time as rampant rumors that Case McCoy would be leaving the program.

It may not be coincidence, then, that news that the Wallace visit had been cancelled came down a few hours before McCoy used Twitter Saturday night to put an end to those rumors:

That leaves Texas with a fairly static QB situation: David Ash and McCoy on campus and Connor Brewer of Arizona as the key QB prospect in this February's recruiting class. Oh well, it was an intriguing possibility.
