BCS Rankings Projections, Week 15: TCU Not Expected To Move Up To No. 16

TCU is not expected to stay at the No. 18 spot in the latest BCS standings and Baylor's at-large chances improve dramatically as they are expected to be No. 11

The TCU Horned Frogs got the help they needed to possibly earn the automatic BCS bid from the non-automatic qualifying when the Houston Cougars lost in the Conference USA title game. TCU then went on to defeat the UNLV Rebels 56-9.

TCU still needed some help as they were ranked No.18 in the current BCS standings and still needed help. That is something TCU did not really get. The Baylor Bears routed the Texas Longhorns and will stay ahead of TCU, the Clemson Tigers defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Big 10 title game came down to the wire.

That combination of those events are likely to leave TCU outside of the No. 16 spot and keep them out of a coveted BCS bid and are expected to be No. 18 when the final BCS standings come out.

Baylor is expected to shoot up the rankings after their win over Texas and are now in position to be selected as an at-large bid by projected to be ranked No. 11.
