The initial BCS rankings are out and the Big 12 Conference is well represented with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State both among the Top-5 teams.
The BCS rankings are out and the LSU Tigers are at the top of the list. They are followed close behind by Alabama and then the Big 12 contingent of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. In fact the Cowboys could control their own destiny as they are ranked ahead of Boise State, Wisconsin, and Stanford.
Kansas State is at No. 11 while Texas A&M checks in at No. 17. With a 4-2 record, the Texas Longhorns sneak into the rankings at No. 24 just ahead of Washington and behind Illinois.
