The TCU Horned Frogs look to improve to 4-0 on the season, as they head to Gerald Ford Stadium to take on the SMU Mustangs.
The TCU Horned Frogs look to improve to 4-0 on the season on Saturday, when the Horned Frogs head to Dallas to take on the SMU Mustangs.
TCU is coming off of a 27-7 over the Virginia Cavaliers -- a game that was never really in doubt for TCU, as the Horned Frogs scored the first 20 points of the game, before giving up a touchdown to Virginia in the fourth quarter.
By contrast, SMU is coming off of a 48-3 drubbing at the hands of Texas A&M, back on Sept. 15. SMU has only been involved in blowout contests this year, as they lost to Baylor, 59-24, before beating Stephen F. Austin, 52-0.
SMU may have a difficult time putting up points on Saturday, as the Mustangs average just 26.3 points per game so far in 2012 -- 83rd best in the country. TCU, meanwhile, boasts the top defense in the nation, allowing just 4.3 points per game to opponents.
As expected, TCU are heavy favorites against SMU, as the early lines have TCU favored by 18 points over the Mustangs.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT at Gerald Ford Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Televised coverage can be found on FSN.
