According to the Forth Worth Star-Telegram's Stefan Stevenson, TCU wide receiver Josh Boyce was seen leaving Friday's spring practice on crutches due to an injured ankle.
However, the medical staff returned with good news, as his ankle injury is apparently minor and he is not expected to miss any practice time this spring.
With TCU moving to the Big 12 in the fall and their defense racked by off-the-field scandal, head coach Gary Patterson had to have been happy to hear Boyce's diagnosis, as the Horned Frogs will need their offense clicking.
In 2011, Boyce was the Horned Frogs' leading WR, finishing the year with 61 receptions, 998 yards and nine touchdowns.
