Collin Klein could lift the Heisman trophy at the end of the year if he can lead the Wildcats to wins in their final few games on their road to a National Championship.
When the TCU Horned Frogs take on Kansas State over the weekend, they'll be facing off against a quarterback who may very well be one of the best in the country, Collin Klein. Klein has been the spark that has helped put the Wildcats in the National Championship discussion, and might also have a foot in the door in the race for the Heisman.
Klein has been incredibly effective in the passing game and has put up yards and touchdowns on the run as well, putting the points on the board as the Wildcats defense has done well to stop the opposition from doing the same. With Geno Smith falling out of favor after his ridiculous start to the season, Klein could be the favorite for the Heisman, especially if he can lead his team to the BCS title game.
TCU should provide a test for the Wildcats, putting up solid defensive performances and keeping games close all season long even as they have gone only 6-3. That's assuming, of course, that he plays; coach Bill Snyder has kept quiet about whether or not Klein would be suiting up on Saturday after an injury suffered against Oklahoma State.
