TCU outscored Iowa State 10-7 in the third and now trail 23-20 heading into the final quarter.

The TCU Horned Frogs are struggling without starting quarterback Casey Pachall as they have been trailing against the Iowa St. Cyclones all afternoon. In the third quarter the Horned Frogs are making a comeback as they were able to outscore the Cyclones 10-7, and now only trail 23-20 heading into the final frame.

TCU did give up a touchdown to Iowa State early in the quarter which put them up 23-10, but then TCU went on a 10-0 run to make the game close.

The Horned Frogs were able to get their lone touchdown on a quick five-play, 48-yard drive that was capped off by a 1-yard touchdown run by Laderice Sanders. The touchdown was set up when Skye Dawson returned the kickoff 52 yards to the Cyclones' 48-yard line.

The other points in the quarter came on a deep 50-yard field goal near the end of the quarter by Jaden Oberkrom to make it only a 3-point game.
