The ending of Saturday's game was similar to the Boise St. Broncos loss last year against the Nevada Wolfpack that involved a kicker missing field goals. and resulted in Boise State not getting a chance to go to another BCS bowl game. The only difference is that this Boise State kick was not even close to being made as it sailed wide right. Here is the video of the missed 39-yard field goal by Boise State kicker Dan Goodale which resulted in TCU upsetting the soon-to-be former No. 5 ranked Boise State.

With the TCU win they are now on track to win the Mountain West Conference before they head on their way out and become a member of the Big 12 next season.
