The TCU Horned Frogs wasted no time responding to Wisconsin’s field goal. Andy Dalton led TCU on a 10 play, 77 yard drive which culminated in a 24 yard touchdown pass to Bart Johnson, giving the Horned Frogs a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.
TCU converted on a pair of third down conversions which kept the drive alive. Dalton was excellent on the drive as well, completing four of six passes for 57 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 19 yards on four attempts.
