The Southern Methodist Mustangs look to gain bowl eligibility on Saturday against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

The SMU Mustangs are hoping for a school-record fourth-straight bowl birth, but face a stiff challenge on Saturday against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

Saturday is SMU's last game in Conference USA, as the team is moving to the Big East in 2013. The Mustangs have played well at Ford Stadium recently, owning a 14-1 record in conference play at home since 2009.

The Golden Hurricane have already clinched the Conference USA Western Division Championship, and are 9-2 on the season. Tulsa is undefeated in conference play this season, with their only loses on the season coming against the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Iowa St. Cyclones.

Tulsa leads the conference is rushing this season, averaging 241.4 yards per game. Running backs Ja'Terian Douglas and Trey Watts each have carried the ball more than 100 times this season, and both average better than 6 yards per carry.

The Golden Hurricane defense will prevent a difficult matchup as well, as the team is third in the nation is sacks-per-game.

Game Time: Saturday, Nov. 24; 11 a.m CT

Location: Gerald Ford Stadium; Dallas, Texas

TV: FX

Odds: Tulsa -4
