2012 NHL Draft Results: Dallas Stars Select Four Centers, Four Defensemen

Unlike Major League Baseball and the National Football League, the NHL doesn't prolong its draft. The 2012 NHL Draft is already in the books, and the Dallas Stars made their nine selections in the draft, injecting some talented youth into the organization.

Here's the draft results for the Dallas Stars in the 2012 NHL Draft:

Round 1, pick 13: Radek Faksa, C, Czech Republic
Round 2, pick 13 (No. 43 overall): Ludwig Bystrom, D, Sweden
Round 2, pick 24 (No. 54 overall): Mike Winther, C, Canada
Round 2, pick 31 (No. 61 overall): Devin Shore, C, Canada
Round 3, pick 13 (No. 74 overall): Esa Lindell, D, Finland
Round 4, pick 13 (No. 104 overall): Gemel Smith, C, Canada
Round 5, pick 13 (No. 134 overall): Brendan Trook, RW, Canada
Round 5, pick 23 (No. 144 overall): Henri Kiviaho, D, Finland
Round 7, pick 2 (No. 183 overall): Dmitry Sinitsyn, D, Russia

For those scoring at home, that's four centers, four defensemen and a right wing drafted by the Stars.
