The Dallas Stars are 16-11-1 on the season and on Tuesday rookie Richard Bachman will go for his second win in his second start of the season versus the New York Rangers.
In his first NHL start, Richard Bachman stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 2-1 victory at the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. His reward? Another start versus the New York Rangers on Tuesday.
"Bacher is going to go tomorrow," said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. "It's an opportunity for him to showcase himself with us. It's an opportunity to solidify him in our plans and what we're doing. We have to evaluate him, just like we are Lars (Philip Larsen), Vinny (Tomas Vincour) and all these guys that are coming up. We want to see where they stand. It's a good opportunity for him to showcase himself."
