While Mavericks fans have been driving themselves crazy following the 24/7 internet rumor mill that is the Deron Williams sweepstakes, they can take comfort in knowing that it will all be over soon enough:

Nets had a "good" meeting with their free agent PG Deron Williams and are hoping to have a decision within next 24-48 hours, sources told Y!

Williams has long stated that he wanted to resolve his free agency before going to training camp for the Olympic team on July 6. There's no way to know what the Nets would consider a "good" or a "bad" meeting, but it seems unlikely that anything would make a difference at this point.

Both teams cards have been on the table for awhile. Now, it's just a matter Williams sleeping on whatever decision he's made.
