When news first broke about former Maverick Jason Kidd's DWI in the Hamptons, it seemed bad but, unfortunately, it's not all that uncommon amongst pro athletes.
However, the latest pictures of the accident, where Kidd smashed his Escalade into a light pole, are fairly scary.

Hopefully, returning to the Tri-State Area doesn't re-awaken Kidd's old demons, which weren't apparent in his time in Dallas.
He's lucky to get out of this with just an arrest and a wrecked car.
