With NBA free agency winding down and football season still a few weeks away, upstanding members of the media like myself have nothing but time to blow the smallest things out of proportion.

Bill Simmons and Mark Cuban recently got in a spat about Chris Kaman and Elton Brand on Twitter, and now the newest Maverick jumped in the fray with a hot sports opinion of his own:

Put it this way: I wasn't crazy about Bill Simmons in 2006 and still not crazy about BS in 2012. #Douche

I don't think Kaman actually had much of an opinion about ESPN's "Sports Guy" back in 2006, I think he is just saying that now as a comeback to the remark Simmons made about the combination of Kaman and Brand when they played for the LA Clippers in 2006.

Either way, if any of the other Mavericks would like to get into a name-calling tiff with another member of the media, they will get no complaints from me.
