A few days ago, ESPN's Bill Simmons snarked on Elton Brand and Chris Kaman, two of the Mavericks newest acquisitions. Mark Cuban was on the case:

There was a concern among some Dallas fans that Cuban's lack of personal involvement in the Deron Williams sweepstakes meant the brash owner was losing interest in his NBA team after winning a championship.
But what better way is there for Cuban to get his face on TV? No one's trying to watch "the Shark Tank".
As for his beef with "the Sports Guy"? In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is the king. Either way, it's a good sign for Mavericks fans that Cuban hasn't lost his love of the spotlight.
