The Dallas Mavericks have their sights set on some of the biggest potential free agents out on the open market, but there's one player who wants to come back despite the chance to leave for larger markets. Jared Zwerling from ESPN New York is reporting that Delonte West could come back to the Mavs this offseason:

I was told today that another possible FA candidate for #Knicks, Delonte West, who could play some backup 1 & 2, wants to re-sign w/ Dallas.

The Mavs have a lot of decisions to make in the backcourt this offseason. They could bring Jason Kidd back. They could chase Deron Williams. It's likely to play out over the next several weeks and beyond, and West might have to wait his turn.
