The Mavericks begin a tough final four games in the NBA's regular season with a contest against struggling in-state foe Houston.
Dallas (34-28) enters the final four-game stretch of the NBA's regular season in in seventh place in the Western Conference - 1 1/2 games ahead of Houston and Phoenix, who are tied for eighth. However, Dallas has a rough final stretch - playing road games against playoff teams Chicago and Atlanta. But Dallas has won six in a row against the ailing Rockets, including two games this season.
The Mavericks will need to bounce back from back-to-back losses to the Lakers and Utah, setbacks that kept the Mavericks from creating a cushion in the playoff race.
The Mavericks have a tough final stretch of games, with three opponents in playoff contention - including road games against Chicago and Atlanta. However, they have won six in a row over the Rockets, including both meetings this season.
