The Dallas Mavericks travel to Los Angeles hoping to avoid a season sweep at the hands of the Lakers in a potential Western Conference Playoffs preview.
The Dallas Mavericks will try to avoid a season sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday afternoon in front of a national television audience on ABC. The Mavericks likely won't have to worry about Kobe Bryant who is doubtful to play while nursing a shin injury.
Today's game could be a playoff preview for the Mavericks and the Lakers who aren't strangers. Dallas swept the Lakers in last year's playoffs as part of their path to the NBA championship.
Both teams come into today's matchup playing well having three games in a row each. The Lakers have surged to the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings and have clinched a spot in the playoffs. Dallas has also played well of late and currently hold a 1.5 game lead over the Houston Rockets for the sixth spot in the Western Conference.
Game date/time: Sunday, April 15, 2:30 p.m. CT
