Dallas starts a four-game road trip in Portland, where they'll miss facing Mavs-killer LaMarcus Aldridge.

LaMarcus Aldridge, a Dallas native and University of Texas product, has been a nightmare for his home-town team the last two years, but Dallas catches a break Friday in Portland, as the big man (averaging 28.2 points a game vs. Dallas) is lost for the year due to hip surgery.

The Mavs have a slim half-game lead over Denver and Houston in the playoff race, but hit the road for a four game run, first stopping in Portland, where they haven't played since winning Game 6 of the playoffs' first round last year, when Dirk Nowitzki put up 33 points and 11 rebounds.

Game Date / Time: Friday, April 13, 9:30 p.m. CT

Location: Rose Garden, Portland, Oregon

TV: ESPN

Radio: 103.3 FM Dallas

Streaming: ESPN 3

Line: Mavs (-2)
