Both Brendan Haywood and Delonte West are inching closer to a return and Haywood could be a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup with the Rockets.
After taking part in Monday's practice, both Brendan Haywood and Delonte West had their statuses upgraded to questionable for Tuesday's game against the Houston Rockets.
"We didn't do a lot of live contact things today, but they went through a lot of other stuff," coach Rick Carlisle said. "So they're inching closer."
Realistically Haywood could be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game with a sprained knee and Delonte West is much more likely to play towards the end of this week or the beginning of next.
West is still dealing with significant pain in his hand after suffering a broken finger.
Haywood has missed the last five games for the Mavericks and West has been out since the middle of February.
