The Dallas Mavericks are in the midst of the most physical grueling part of this year's truncated NBA schedule playing three games in three nights.
However, the opponents weren't supposed to offer up this much trouble. The Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings are very beatable teams for the reigning NBA Champions. Instead, the Mavs are hoping to avoid losing their third game in a row tonight as they travel to play the Golden State Warriors.
Currently the Mavs are in third place in the Southwest at 23-19, behind the first place San Antonio Spurs and the Memphis Grizzlies. The good news is that, despite the current slide of losing 7 of their last 10 games, the team is only 4.5 games out of first place.
