Chad Ford: Dallas Is 'Preferred Outcome' For Dwight Howard, Deron Williams

Stay connected for news and updates

The whispers surrounding Deron Williams and Dwight Howard coming to Dallas in the summer of 2012 are beginning to grow into a rumble. In a chat at ESPN.com, Chad Ford wrote this:

The only scenario where [Williams doesn't leave New Jersey] is if the Nets swing a deal for Dwight Howard at the trade deadline. At that point, I think Williams hangs around. If that doesn't happen, I think Williams will join Dwight Howard (assuming he's not traded to the Lakers in March) in Dallas next summer. Lots of signals pointing to this being the preferred outcome for both players.

With both players slated to play in the 2012 All-Star Game in Orlando and face the national media this weekend, these rumors are likely to be the hot topic in the NBA.
