The Mavs have won five in a row but are without three of their guards. Can they make it a straight six on the road against Philly's defense?
The Dallas Mavericks (19-11) sail into Philadelphia winners of five straight and looking to hand the 76ers (20-10) their third straight home loss, but the streakiness of both teams hides a huge issue for the Mavs. Dallas' backcourt is decimated, with the losses of Delonte West (broken finger) and Jason Kidd (right quad) to injuries, and Rodrigue Beaubois to a family matter.
The Mavs have averaged over 100 points a game during their winning streak - most recently a home rout of the Nuggets - after starting February with three straight losses. But without much of their backcourt, Dallas will have to contend with one of the league's best defenses in Philly (allowing only 87.3 points a game).
