Vince Carter Injury: Dallas Guard To Miss Next Two Games With Sprained Foot

The Dallas Mavericks announced on Thursday that Vince Carter would miss the remaining two games of the team's current road trip with a sprained left foot.

The Dallas Mavericks will be without guard Vince Carter for at least the remainder of their road trip due to a sprained foot. Carter originally hurt the foot after he missed a game tying attempt Monday night against the Lakers.

Carter sat out last night's loss to the Clippers and the team announced on Thursday that he would miss the remainder of the road trip. Carter has played in 14 games this season and is averaging 9.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. The 13-year veteran is hitting 42 percent of his field goal attempts this season but is shooting 44 percent from three-point range.
