Hats off to Springfield bound and current Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki. On Friday the 13th, Nowitzki eclipsed 23,000 career points, becoming just the 23rd player in NBA history to do so.

The historic points came during the second quarter against the Milwaukee Bucks, as the Mavs look to improve to 7-5 on the season.

Nowitzki joins Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett as the only active members of the 23,000 point club.
