Dirk Nowitzki really wanted to sing his new favorite song, Queen's We Are The Champions, with the assembled crowd at the conclusion of the Mavericks championship parade, so Mark Cuban introduced him and asked him to lead the crowd.
Dirk started with a "take that wit you!" and then, "Alright, we're gonna sing We Are The Champions. Are we ready? Let's go. How does it go?" Funny moment, and the off-key lead only lasted the last few lines, but Dirk can do just about anything he wants in Dallas right now.
After the parade in a celebration with season ticket holders inside American Airlines Center, Cuban, Tyson Chandler and Jason Terry led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday To You to Nowitzki, who turns 33 Sunday.
