NBA Finals: Dirk Nowitzki Tears Tendon In Left Hand

Stay connected for news and updates

Dirk Nowitzki just concluded his post game press conference and revealed that he tore a tendon on his left middle finger when he went to strip Chris Bosh late in the game.

Nowitzki did not seem concerned with the injury and it is on his non-shooting hand but a torn tendon is a torn tendon. How that effects his offensive game remains to be seen but you can rest assured that the Heat will attack him when he drives and make sure to get a few more shots on his left hand.

He says he will wear a splint for the rest of the series.

Needless to say, this is not the news Mavericks fans were hoping for down 1-0 in the NBA finals.
