NBA Finals 2011: 'Good Vs. Evil'

Ben Rogers declares on Twitter:

When you Google "Good vs Evil" you will find Dirk vs. LeBron on the first page of the search.

Is it true? Yes. Switch your search option to news and it eats up most of the first page

Granted, most of those results originate from North Texas, but 'good vs. evil' may well become the moniker for the 2011 NBA Finals, particularly if the ugly specter of officiating enters the fray.

Jennifer Floyd Engel's column from this morning is the first result in that google search. She investigates that question, her primary focus being Dirk's decision to forge his own future, while LeBron James turned to Dwyane Wade to help him get his rings. Though JFE touts Dirk Nowitzki's style, she actually concludes that this is not an issue of good or evil.

"Just knowing who he is as a person and the kind of loyalty he has is a part of who he is," Carlisle said when asked why he never once thought Dirk might take his talents to New York, or Miami, or Germany.

Dirk is not a saint for staying, just as LeBron is not evil for fleeing.
