Mavericks Will Face Thunder In Western Conference Finals

Stay connected for news and updates

The Dallas Mavericks finally know who stands between them and a trip to the 2011 NBA Finals: the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder finished off the Memphis Grizzles on Sunday afternoon, beating them easily, 105-90 in Game 7. This means that the Mavericks will be getting a heavy dose of Kevin Durant - who went off in Game 7, scoring 39 points while grabbing nine rebounds.

The schedule for the Western Conference Finals is now set.

Game 1: Tuesday, Oklahoma City at Dallas, 8 p.m.
Game 2: Thursday, Oklahoma City at Dallas, 8 p.m.
Game 3: Saturday, Dallas at Oklahoma City, 8 p.m.
Game 4: Monday, May 23, Dallas at Oklahoma City, 8 p.m.
Game 5: Wednesday, May 25, Oklahoma City at Dallas, 8 p.m.
Game 6: Friday, May 27, Dallas at Oklahoma City, 8 p.m.
Game 7: Sunday, May 29, Oklahoma City at Dallas, 8 p.m.

Games five through seven, of course, are if necessary. The Eastern Conference finals gets underway tonight as the Bulls play host to the Heat.
